My first trip with Cath, plus Mike, Jen & family. Visiting the Flinders Ranges, Central Australia & following the Hay river from the Plenty Hwy to the Simpson Desert.

Trip Itinenary

Narrabri (1 night) - Geoff used to live here from 1977 to 1982. I showed Cath the places we used to live and the key Narrabri "Attractions"

Broken Hill (2 nights) - Cath lived here for her first few years. We visited the house that she and her parents had lived, explored the BHP Mine, before exploring xxxx and xxxx.

Flinders Ranges (1 night) - Where we meet up with Mike, Jen and family who had set of from Canberra. Our first night of camping and Cath liked our style with a glass of cold champagne on arrival.

Oodnadatta Track (1 night) - after a day exploring the Flinders Rangers, Maree, amd Lake Eyre we camped beside the Oodnadatta track for a stormy night.

Stuart Hwy (1 night) - a stop over on the way to Uluru (Eyres Rock)

Uluru (3 nights) - Exploring Uluru, seeing the sunrise and sunset plus walking around the base before visiting Kata Tjuta (The Olgas)

Kings Canyon (1 night)

West MacDonald Ranges (1 night)

Alice Springs (1 night)

Hay River (4 nights)

Propell Corner (1 night)

Big Red (1 night)
