Tasmania - February 2010
The same group of friends who did the Whitsunday Island kayak trip planned to paddle in Bathurst Harbour in Southwast Tasmania. Weather and Boat (to sail to and from Bathurst Harbour) availability reduced our time at Bathurst Harbour allowng us to paddle at anumber of other locations north and south of Hobart.
Whitsunday Islands - June 2009
a Kayaking and camping holiday with a group of friends around the Whitsunday Islands.
Boreen Point - March 2009
My first paddle as part of the Queensland Sea Kayak club. This paddle left Tewantin and went up the Noosa River through Lake Cooroibah, with another stretch of the Noosa River before crossing Lake Cootharaba and camping at the caravan park at Boreen Point. instead of "Roughing it" we had a nice meal at the Boreen Point Pub before sleeping in our tents. The next day involved doing the reverse paddle back to Tewantin.
Myall River NSW - December 2008
Jose (Sydney ) and I (Brisbane) were planning to do a kayaking trip around the Whitsunday Islands. We had paddled together for shorter trips while I lived in Sydney, but hadnt done any longer trips together. As I was heading to Sydney for a family Christmas, Jose and I decided to do the 25+km paddle down the Myall River to Nelsons Bay.
Gordon River - Tasmania 2003
Axel and I did a 3 week 4WD Trip to Tasmania, around Christmas 2003, to explore as much of the island as we could. As part of this trip we had brought out Kayaks along with the plan to explore the rivers, lakes and bays.
